These Terms and Conditions apply to all applicants, participants, fellows, and users of the Yozma Fellowship website and programme.
By registering interest, applying, or participating in the Yozma Fellowship, you agree to these Terms.
1. About Yozma Fellowship
Yozma Fellowship is operated by Yozma Fellowship CIC, a UK Community Interest Company limited by guarantee, registered in England and Wales (Company No. 16636267).
Yozma Fellowship is a non-profit, educational programme designed to support entrepreneurial university students through immersive learning, community, and exposure to global innovation ecosystems.
2. Nature of the Programme
The Yozma Fellowship is an educational fellowship, not employment, consultancy, or investment advice.
Participation does not create:
- an employment relationship
- a partnership or agency relationship
- any entitlement to funding, investment, or commercial opportunities
All learning, mentorship, and access provided is educational and developmental in nature.
3. Eligibility
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be enrolled at a UK-based university at the time of application
- Normally be in Year 2 of undergraduate study (exceptions may apply)
- Demonstrate genuine entrepreneurial interest or initiative
- Meet passport, travel, and security requirements for participation
Yozma reserves the right to verify eligibility at any stage.
4. Application and Selection
Submitting an application or expression of interest does not guarantee acceptance.
Selection decisions are made by Yozma’s internal selection committee and are:
- Competitive
- Discretionary
- Final
Yozma is not obliged to provide detailed feedback on unsuccessful applications.
5. Programme Structure and Changes
The Fellowship typically includes:
- A UK-based kickoff
- A 7-day immersive trip to Israel
- A 12-month UK-based programme of events and community activity
Yozma reserves the right to:
- Adjust speakers, locations, content, or format
- Change dates or delivery mode
- Postpone or restructure parts of the programme if required
This may include changes due to safety, security, logistical, legal, or force majeure considerations.
6. Travel, Safety, and Conduct
Participants must:
- Follow all safety guidance provided by Yozma and its travel partners
- Comply with local laws and regulations
- Behave responsibly and respectfully at all times
Yozma may remove a participant from the programme without refund or compensation if they:
- Endanger themselves or others
- Breach laws or serious behavioural standards
- Act in a way that materially harms the Fellowship or its community
7. Costs, Deposits, and Funding
The Fellowship is subsidised by donors and partners.
Participants may be required to pay a refundable participation deposit (currently £300), subject to:
- Attendance
- Engagement
- Completion of Fellowship commitments
Yozma reserves the right to withhold refunds where a participant withdraws without valid reason or breaches these Terms.
8. No Guarantee of Outcomes
Yozma does not guarantee:
- Employment
- Investment
- Startup success
- Commercial introductions
- Academic or career outcomes
The Fellowship provides access, exposure, and learning, not results.
9. Intellectual Property and Content
All Fellowship materials remain the intellectual property of Yozma or its contributors.
Participants may not:
- Record sessions without permission
- Distribute materials publicly without consent
- Misrepresent Yozma content or speakers
Participants retain ownership of their own ideas and projects.
10. Media, Photography, and Communications
Yozma may take photos, videos, or recordings during Fellowship activities.
By participating, you consent to reasonable use of this material for:
- Educational
- Marketing
- Reporting
- Fundraising purposes
You may opt out by notifying Yozma in writing.
11. Data Protection and Privacy
Yozma processes personal data in line with UK data protection law.
Personal information is used only for:
- Programme administration
- Communication
- Safety and compliance

12. Equality, Inclusion, and Non-Discrimination
Yozma Fellowship is open to students of all backgrounds.
We do not discriminate on the basis of:
- Religion
- Ethnicity
- Nationality
- Gender
- Sexual orientation
- Political views
The programme is non-religious and non-political.
13. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Participation is at your own risk
- Yozma is not liable for indirect or consequential loss
- Yozma is not responsible for actions of third-party speakers or venues
Nothing limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where such limitation is unlawful.
14. Termination
Yozma may suspend or terminate participation at its discretion if these Terms are breached.
Participants may withdraw, but refunds and ongoing access are not guaranteed.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of English courts.
